Marvelous, and I mean MARVELOUS, May!!!

Mia and her sweet friend, Aubrey!

5th grade friends!!

Helping the environment by putting up baby tree protectors!

Crazy girl!

So grateful I have gotten to go on Mia's field trip every year since she started preschool! This is one of the main reasons I'm thankful I've been able to stay home these past 11 years!

Mother's day breakfast!

Cheering on the Blazers on Mother's Day!

Uncle Jon put flowers on Grandma Kathy's and Grandma Eaton's graves for Mother's day!

Mia helped make our mother's day dessert!

Love my sweet kiddos that call me Mom!

This helpful boy set the table for mother's day!

Maco made a delicious mother's day dinner for Sittee and me!

Papa got to join us this year!

Mia made such a yummy treat!

Love my cards and homemade gifts! Mia went online and found out how to make an earring holder for me! Kyrie made a coaster for me just like Mia did in 2nd grade!

The fam also got me the traditional hanging plants for the front porch hanging in the back of the photo.

Mother's Day pedis with my sweet girl!

Sittee's Mother's day gifts!

He was so excited to give me his gift he made!

Crazy carpool soccer girls!

Park fun!

Dine out to support the school! Dinner at 5 Guys, dessert at Menchis! The kids love eating with the Schultz family and practically every dine out night!

Nay loves Chloe's dog, Bo! Even though he's not even a year and bigger than she is!

Kyrie's field trip to the Rice Museum of Rocks and Minerals! This was the first year I haven't been a chaperone on a field trip with one of the kids! Unfortunately, Maco and I were on our trip during it. Thankful for pictures from his wonderful teacher!

Kyrie's favorite rock at the museum!

A couple tired boys after their field trip !

Congrats Jess on your graduation from George Fox! She was an amazing team manager for 4 years! We will miss her!

Grocery shopping with Daddy!

Nay's 1st popsicle thanks to Kyrie's baseball treats!

3rd kid! Totally let her eat the popsicle in the car, but at least I put a blanket down!

I got ambitious and took these two to the school playground!! It was manageable thanks to Mia!

This guy's typical outfit for the Blazer games!

Twirling while cheering for the Blazers!

Tetherball with Uncle Cole at our family dinner celebrating Yaya's birthday!

Ice cream cake!

Happy birthday, Yaya!

Uncle Quinn!

It was nice celebrating Yaya since we haven't been able to in person for many years!

Backyard b-ball with Oz!

No food goes to waste! :)

Papa & Yaya got to watch Mia play soccer this month!

These great friends were rivals today in soccer!

Sister cuddle time!

Mia's pick for dinner at Elmers for winning our family NCAA pool! She has won 3 years in a row, so 3 years to Elmers we go!

Games at Elmers!

Sitting in a booster at the restaurant for the first time! Nay loves eggs!

Helping Daddy with his workout!

All ready for our family photo shoot! First one with Nay as apart of our family and in 4 years!

Heading to the photo shoot at Cottonwood Beach!

So thankful to the amazing Mallory Olson for our photo shoot! Can't wait to see the pictures!!

We totally brought these rose petals for our shoot! Ha! Nope, thanks to a wedding couple that just took photos, we had some fun ones!

Mia  with the assist!

Just a walk down the street in her Christmas pjs! Nay loves these two and even started saying Chloe out of the blue recently!

Love this one in yellow!

Just like Sissy with her headband!

Tetherball with Daddy! Love our Buy Nothing site where I got this tetherball pole!

Fashionista!

Still walking with this one during soccer!!

When Nay gets nervous, this is what she does!! Never had a nose picker kid!!

Got to finally take Maco to one of this season's broadway shows! School of Rock!

Kyrie's 1st time mowing the lawn!

Water fight at baseball practice

Maco being a goof aerating the yard!

Apparently Nay wants to come with us on our trip!!

On our way!

We have waited almost 2 years for this.....a belated 15 year anniversary trip(now our 17th!). We had a baby instead in 2017! On our way to the amazing island of Curacao in the Caribbean! We have a long day and 3 legs of travel ahead of us!! It will all be worth it though!

Maco is so lucky he can sleep wherever!

We have arrived! After over 24 hours of travel, our first night out to dinner at sunset around the corner from our condo!

Sitting right on the ocean looking out at this view!

Caribbean drink in the Caribbean of course!

Maco ordered the fish!

So excited for our week here in paradise!

The view from our condo balcony!

Breakfast on the balcony!

Our condo is right there on the edge overlooking the ocean!

Getting in a workout!

Our first day at Cos Abou beach!! Amazingly beautiful!

My handsome hubby!

We had fun spending most of our afternoons lounging on the beach!

My turn for a sweet Caribbean drink!

Skipping rocks! We could just do whatever we wanted!

Amazing water!

17 years!!

Sunset at our condo!

Little piglets along the road!

We spent an afternoon in downtown Wilemstad taking in the sights and sounds!

Curacao is a Dutch Caribbean region, about 65 miles north of the Venezuelan coast. It is part of the country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Walking across the bridge from the touristy area to where the locals hang out!

We checked out an old Fort that is now a mall!

We spent an afternoon at our condo pool and met some nice people from New York! All the Americans that were there were from NY. No one could believe we came all the way from Portland!

At the pool with the ocean in the background!

These iguanas hung out with us on the ledge at our place.

Sunset on our balcony!

Another day, another beach!

Shete Boka National Park! We opted for the on foot tour, which apparently no one else did! We walked for almost 2 hours along the coastline! It was beautiful and hot!

Amazing waves crashing here!

I had a thing with 17 everywhere we went!

This was a canyon with tons of words written in rocks!
I wrote 17 years again!!

Boka Pistol! So amazing watching the waves shoot up like a pistol here!

Check this wave out!!

Amazing how you can just float in the water here with all the salt!

A couple from Hew Hampshire opened a restaurant a couple blocks from our condo. It was such delicious wood oven pizza and the dessert was amazing!

Of course Maco makes mango salsa while in the Caribbean for us! Loved having our kitchen for breakfast/lunch! Then we went out to a local restaurant each night for dinner!

Trying out the wet ocean hair look!:)

We went to a local restaurant for a 6 course and 3 hour meal! I was literally sick by the 3rd course, but it was quite the experience! Once a month, they do a many course meal from a different country, and this month was China! This was our fancy dessert, pear with a glaze in mint sauce and whip cream. None of us could figure out how to eat it. We were all trying to cut it with a fork, which was quite hilarious when everyone kept almost losing the pear on the floor! It wasn't until after we were done that the chef came out and said we were supposed to use our fingers! And here I thought that wouldn't have been polite! :)

We climbed Cristoffel Mountain! It was no joke! They said it would be hard, but I didn't realize how hard!! We were actually climbing up boulders! This is our before shot! Fortunately we picked an overcast cooler day!

I thought this was the hard part, but this was nothing!

This is straight up!

Getting close to the top!

Made it to the top! It was a mile straight up!

So windy at the top!!

Made it back down!

Our last dinner out at a local restaurant! Loved trying our local dishes each night!

Our favorite beach, Playa Knip!

For our last day we drove 45 minutes back to town to go to the touristy Mambo Beach Blvd!

I was sooooo excited to get a crepe! This is a tradition on our Caribbean trips! It didn't disappoint!

The touristy area was definitely our least favorite. Dirtier and more crowded, but still relaxing!

The view of the ocean out our bedroom window!

Ocean view from the living room!
We had an amazing week in Curacao! A week of being together, relaxing, and recharging! I look forward to doing this every year someday!

Mia had this waiting when we arrived home at 1am! She even made the cupcakes from scratch! She set her alarm to get up and surprise us when we got there, but it didn't go off, thankfully!!

Gifts from Curacao for the kids!

Sittee took the kids to the school carnival while we were gone!

So thankful to Yaya/Papa, Sittee, and Auntie Kelly for taking care of the kids while we were gone! We wouldn't have been able to go on our trip if they hadn't been willing to help us! Thankful for the other friends that helped get kids to activities and had them over for play dates, too! It definitely takes a village!

Baseball buddies at pictures!

Dorothy Fox 5th graders ready for the all elementary school 5th grade track meet!

MIa and Chlo ready to go!

5th graders waiting in line for their turn at the standing triple jump!

Our little track star!

Mia and her BFF at opposite schools now!

Cheering on Sissy!

Mia got 1st place in both of her events, the 50 meter dash and 100 meter dash! I love watching her run!

50 meter dash

100 meter dash

These girls rocked it! Chloe won her heats, too!

Sittee was there the whole time cheering on Mia! So supportive!! Thankful that Auntie and Uncle Quinn came out to watch her fun, too!

Keeping busy while waiting for Sissy's relay to run!

Ready to run the 200 relay!

1st place winners! They crushed it! Chloe was across the finish line before some of the schools had even started their last leg!

200 m relay

running long jump

Standing triple jump

This girl did so awesome today! First place in all her running events and did her best in the long jump and standing triple jump! I can't wait for MS track next year!

We drove straight from the track meet to Bend!
On the Deschutes River

Grandma Cusack treated us to dinner at Red Robin!

Movie/cuddle time with Daddy before bed!

Had an amazing hour walk on the river! So nice to be able to walk right from Grandma's house to the river in a couple minutes! I love Bend!

Helping G'ma clean!

o
Playing bocce ball in at Grandma's!

Detour to Men's Warehouse to get a sport coat for the wedding since we discovered it was a jacket and slacks kind of wedding on our drive to Bend! Fortunately, Maco needed a navy jacket for Bruin games, so good investment!

Fun at the fountain!

We love our smoothies!

Macha smoothie for Nay!

A little baseball in Grandma's backyard!

Getting ready for the wedding!

Nay climbed right up on Grandma's lap! Just long enough to snap a photo!

3 generations!

All ready for the Kopple wedding!

Such a beautiful day at Tetherow Resort for Kevin and Nikki!

Congrats to the Kopples! Kevin is the baseball coach at Fox! We now only go to GFU and former b-ball player weddings!

What a beautiful backdrop! Weddings are the best place for a family photo!

My beautiful girls!

Divas! The kids made friends with the softball coaches kids, Riley and Kinley!

I love that they had special plates for the kids and brought them out to them before the buffet opened! So smart!

This little one was  a dancing machine!

She spent a lot of time dancing with this 4 year old! Each time he would let go of her hands, she would grab them again!

Playing hard to get! :)

Oh my!! I was laughing so hard, tears were coming down!

Dancin' the night away with Daddy!

She even had the adults doing a copy cat dance! They were troopers and danced with her for a long time! Unfortunately, the video was too long to post!

Daddy even got Mia to get her dance on!

All of the Hamiltons closed down the dancefloor at 10pm!!! Even Nay!

This is the first time the kids have every been to the end of a wedding! They weren't quite sure about the sparklers!

Giving Grandma a goodbye hug! Loved staying with her this weekend! She is such a great hostess! So appreciate her opening her home to us whenever!

Popsicle from Grandma for the ride home!
