Well, since we live in a 3 bedroom house, we had to change over our office/TV/scrapbooking room to the baby’s room. Unfortunately, this was also Maco’s memorabilia room. So after taking down all of the pictures, pennants, plaques, etc from the walls, we were ready to start making the room into a baby’s room.
I really wasn’t into painting, so luckily the neutral color went with the bedding. Of course, Mia wanted to help, so she got to “paint” the doors. :)
I didn’t really have any true vision for the room……just found a bedding that we liked and went with it. We used furniture and some other things from Mia’s baby room, so I didn’t have to get a lot of new things. I thought it would be fun to add the Noah’s Ark picture, which was from my room when I was a baby.
Looking forward to putting Baby H’s hand/footprints and pictures in the frames when he’s born, just like in Mia’s room.
We are so praying that the baby will spend as much time as Mia did in here and be a super sleeper….is that too much to ask? :)
And of course the room wouldn’t be complete without books, CDs, picture frames, and pictures of big brother, Josiah! :)
We are all ready for the little guy, and we can’t wait to bring him home and show him his new room! Should be any day now……stay tuned!
