I lost my mother on November 24th, which was Thanksgiving morning! It was a very difficult day, but we always said it was a great day for her to enter Heaven because we were so thankful for her and the amazing life she had!
When she first died, I couldn’t imagine how I was going to live one day without her, let alone 15 years! And now here we are! I can’t believe it has already been so long! By the grace of God, and the support of my family(especially Maco & Mia) and friends, I found the strength to go on!
As a mom now, I love integrating traditions and special times into our family like my mom did. With Mia I try to do some of the same things she did with us. I am so thankful that I had my mom here on earth with me for 16 1/2 years, but I am also thankful that I have an angel in Heaven holding my son, until I get to again!
We had Auntie Kelly and Uncle Ryan over for dinner to spend some time with family. We were sad that we couldn’t spend the day with the rest of the family, but we look forward to watching some old videos together over Christmas break!
