Well, it had been 7 years since Maco and I have gone on the Kaady family camping trip to Catherine Creek in Eastern Oregon, so we decided it was time to go again! We had a great time, and Mia loved her time in the great outdoors! We got to spend the time with about 30 Kaady family members!!
I was a little nervous about how Mia would do, especially how she would sleep. Thankfully she did awesome! She took 2 hour naps each day(I didn't even think she would be able to nap at all) and slept 10-11 hours each night. Although the first morning was rough when she woke up at 5:45am(she normally wakes up around 8:30). But each day she slept in longer and longer, which was nice!
We have just arrived at camp and Mia is checking the place out!

Sharing her very first S'mores with Sittee!
As you can tell, she loved it!
Philip, Jack, Ramona, & Mona(Distant Kaady cousins)
Lucy, Margaret(more distant cousins), and Uncle Randy
It got very cold at night and in the mornings, so we had to bundle Mia up!

I love profile pictures!
Got my rocks!
I love blowing bubbles!
The Kaady family eats nothing but the best while camping. No hotdogs or hamburgers, but Lebanese food and other wonderful food. Auntie Jane and Uncle Randy even make Sauge(no clue how to spell it) bread, while we're there. It's everyone's favorite!
She made 40 loaves! Thank you, Auntie Jane!
Uncle Randy cooks the bread on this very interesting wok looking contraption. You'd probably have to get it custom made if you wanted one for yourself. The bread is delicious with butter, jam, and/or peanut butter, and it is kind of like pita bread, but much better! Thank you, Uncle Randy!
Water time at the creek with Daddy!

Mia's giggles are so precious! You can't get the full affect with a still shot, but it's so sweet! See below for a video!!
Of course, when I tried to record Mia laughing she wasn't doing it as much. She's just started trying to count to 10. She basically says 1, 2, 5, & 10. We're working on it, actually Daddy is the one that taught her to count so far!! Guess I'd better get on that since I am the teacher in the family!! :)
Our first family photo at Catherine Creek! Hopefully there will be many more in the future!
Auntie Jane and Philip racing down the creek!
Building a dam
One wet, slicked ponytail!
Mia had to wear her "I love NY" shirt in honor of her cousin Michael who lives there. This is her little boy outfit, and the shorts are 3-6 month shorts. Too funny!
Mia finally discovered that she likes blueberries, and I'm so happy! I've been trying to feed them to her for months, and she wouldn't have anything to do with them, until now!! Thank goodness!
Daddy & Uncle Randy cooking up some yummy french toast and bacon for breakfast!
We look forward to some great Catherine Creek memories next year!!

It looks like you guys had a fabulous time! I love the video of Mia giggling and counting! Too cute! Also, her brown polka dot swimsuit is just adorable! Thanks for sharing! :)
That looks like fun! That is funny that Mia is into rocks - so is Mikayla. She picks them up everywhere we go!
That looked like a blast! Mia is such a cutie!
