We took off last Friday to make the trek to La Grande, Oregon for
"Uncle" Jebron's graduation. He is Maco's best friend from college, and they played basketball together at EOU. JB just finished up getting his teaching certificate and his master's degree this past year. We are so excited because his first teaching job will be here in the Couve at Endeavor Elementary School! So the family is packing up and moving west next month! We can't wait!!
So, on our way we stopped for dinner, and we let Mia have her first Taco Bell! I know, very healthy. She had the potato wedges, which she loved. Maco even let her have her first sip of pop. That won't be happening again for a long time! And we don't plan on giving her more TB in the near future. Of course, I had to document this first just like all the others. :)
It actually rained during the outdoor graduation, and apparently people that live in La Grande don't own umbrellas(or at least the people we stayed with!) :) So, we had to take cover behind the bleachers for awhile until it was JB's turn to walk across the stage.
In case you couldn't figure it out, Jebron is the guy smiling in the middle!
Ok, this may look weird, but it's a new little game that Maco and Mia play. He puts a Cheerio in between his teeth and Mia gets it out. She loves it! :)
Walking home after the graduation, Mia fell and got her first little booboo!(And when I say walking, I mean holding Maco's hand while walking!) :)
JB's family came from San Jose for the celebration!
Amy's family couldn't miss this special day!(minus their son, Rasean, taking a nap)
The proud family!!
I love these pictures of the back of Maco and Mia walking together. :)
Mia's ready to golf with Isaiah & Rasean!
She wouldn't move from this spot!
JB's mom had these delicious cookies made for the graduation!
Mia sat at the table like a big girl this weekend, although she could barely see over the top!
