The wedding festivities started off with a bridesmaid luncheon at Mertyl's Tea House in Ridgefield last Thursday! We had a lot of fun, and I'm pretty sure Maco was one of the few guys that has ever frequented the tea house!
Kerri(college friend) & Nicole(childhood friend)
I can say with complete certainty that this was the first time Maco has ever drank tea, let alone been in a tea house! :)
Kelly got Maco some special cuff links and a #1 Bridesman frame that she insists he put on his desk at work!
The ladies all got special shirts to wear on the wedding day. Mine said, "Matron of Honor". Kelly also spoiled us with black flip flops, monogrammed canvas bags, and jewelry all for the special day!
Mia's ready to make her flower girl debut down the aisle!
Yaya and Mia
The Maid of Honor, Katie, & Bestman, Blake!
Ready to go to Starbucks after the rehearsal!
The rehearsal dinner was at Royal Oaks County Club. It was very nice!
Ryan's groomsman cake.....Game Over, Ryan!!!
So, I had to give a shout out to my frugal ways in this post. :) We all met at the mall for a free Orange Julius with the coupons that I printed for everyone. It was a savings of $5! Gotta love it!! I even had many extra coupons, so I had fun sharing them with people in the food court. I felt like Santa!! :) In this economy these days, a free smoothie is pretty cool.
A day of pampering!
Trying to show our hands and feet that were painted, but instead this just looks really weird! :)
Starbucks on the morning of the wedding
We all got our hair done, and Kelly had her makeup done, too.
Ready for the final touch......the dresses!
Kelly's colors were black and fuchsia with a damask theme. She did 1/2 the tables in black and 1/2 in damask. The room looked awesome!!
Time to get the dress on!
This was the only time we could get Mia to wear the cute flower in her hair.
Such a good daddy....trying to get Mia's hair clip in!
The first look!
Dad's first look!
The flower girl & ring bearer, Jack!
The infamous ushers, Cole & Quinn
Maco was the brunt of many jokes this weekend, since he was a bridesman! He even got to hold the flowers here. :)
The Cusack family
Ryan's Aunt Lynn officiated the ceremony!
It started raining a little bit as the ceremony began. Luckily the major rain held off. Thank you, Jesus!
This is the point in the ceremony where I realize that I(the Matron of Honor), don't have Ryan's ring. Fortunately, Maco ran as fast as the speed of light to retrieve it in the bridal room. We only had to wait about 15 seconds. :) Geez, and I only had one job to do, too! I never heard the end of it at the reception!
Kelly thought it was hilarious! She was happy it happened. Thank goodness!(Check out the runner that Kelly made herself!)
Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Hawthorne!!
Not sure what Dad is doing here, but I thought it was a funny face!
Introducing the couple to the guests at the reception!
The cake was beautiful and delicious!
Cousin Samantha loves playing with Mia, as allways.
I was so excited to give one of the toasts! Of course, I had to write the entire thing. I couldn't just make it up off the top of my head, or it wouldn't have been pretty!
As you can see from Kelly & Ryan's faces Katie's toast was quite funny! She incorporated clips from songs to work into her speech! The guests love it!
Of course, Maco gave a very special toast all from the top of his head! He had people in tears, as always!
Blake(Ryan's younger brother) gives his toast!
And last but not least, is Dad.
The first dance!
Father-Daughter Dance
Mother-son dance
Many of Kelly's high school girlfriends!
Cousin David doing some interesting dance moves on Uncle Jon!
And his brother, Jack, doing some break dancing that apparently his dad taught him! :)
Maco bustin a move!
Who's going to catch the bouquet? I have a feeling it will be Auntie Katie!!
Watch out!! You may get trampled!
Well, let's see what happens now that Auntie Katie caught the bouquet!
Garter toss....every guy scrambles to not pick it up!
Dad hands out sparklers for the send off!
After the bride and groom drove around for a few minutes, they came back to the Fairgate Inn because we all were staying the night! We hung out and had snacks until midnight.
We were all given a delicious breakfast the morning after the wedding.
The last wedding event on the agenda(Yes, Kelly made each of us our own special agenda!) was the opening of gifts and having lunch on Father's Day! Mia was really excited to help open the presents.
Kelly and Ryan got many nice new things for their home! They are very thankful!
Overall, it was a beautiful wedding and Kelly was the most beautiful bride!! I felt very honored standing up for Kelly on this special day. I am excited that we're adding Ryan to the family and I look forward to sharing life with the Hawthornes!

I think this is the most gorgeous, classy, amazing wedding I have ever seen pics of! Wow! Congrats to your sister, I loved seeing all of the photos. Martha Stewart may want to do a special feature on this one, seriously!
