It was an amazing year, in which expectations for the team were greatly exceeded! No one would have ever predicted the team that finished in last place at 5 and 15 last year, would end up finishing District champs, Regional champs, and 7th in state! I'm so proud of the boys, the entire coaching staff, and especially my husband!!
This was a very special group of young men, and we'll miss the 8 seniors leaving. Maco is sad the season is over, and while it's hard for him to say goodbye, he'll be the first to tell the seniors(and all the boys) that he's here for them forever. Whatever, whenever!!And that is why I can so easily support him in this coaching adventure! To Maco, it is so much more than coaching basketball, it's helping create Men Built For Others!!
And now it's on to coaching tennis...........and then we leave for Costa Rica in 12 days!! Wow! No time to rest!!

Wow, I didn't realize that their coaching season's were so similar. Jody also had 8 seniors and an absolutely great group of kids! Obviously he wishes he could have finished 7th also lol (Awesome job Maco!!!). Pretty exciting considering the outcome last year. :)
