Look how clean Mia is at the end of eating her cupcake!! Where's all the mess? We're going to have to redo the cupcake eating just to get a messy face picture! I also realized that I didn't get more video of her actually eating her cupcake, just licking the frosting. Bummer!

Mikayla came to share Mia's first birthday with her. She celebrated her first birthday two weeks earlier.(By the way, she's really not a foot taller than Mia, she's just bending over!)

The morning of Mia's real birthday, February 24th! Since we'd already partied this weekend, we just spent the day hanging out. We only left the house to go to Baby Boot Camp in the morning and then chilled the rest of the rainy day!

  

Sittee came over and brought us Olive Garden to celebrate Mia's first birthday! Unfortunately, she was very sick and couldn't come to Mia's party!

Auntie Kelly came over to celebrate Mia's birthday evening, too!

Well, Mia had her one year appointment and everything looks great!! She continues to be very thin. I thought for sure she was going to be at least 18 pounds(wishful thinking, Jane!!), but she is actually only 17 lbs, 10 oz. She is only in the 5th% for her weight! It still baffles me because the girl can eat, and I don't think I was a petite baby.  She is 29 1/2 inches long, which is in the 65%. She's definitely growing on the length chart. When you put her height and weight together on a chart, she actually doesn't even make the chart. But the doctor is not worried at all because she continues to grow on the same curve!

We are so thankful for our little girl and feel very blessed because she's happy and healthy! We look forward to the upcoming year and all the joy Mia brings to us each and every day!
