We finally ventured out during the snow last weekend to get our tree! This is the latest that we've ever gotten our tree. I actually contemplated not even getting one, and for those of you that know me well, know that usually Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. We went to our former tennis player's tree farm in Ridgefield and managed to find one for a great price. I just can't justify spending $60 for a tree at Thorton's anymore! Must be my frugalness!
Mia is all happy and excited to find a tree! We bundled her up as much as possible. I think she had on about 3 or 4 layers. She only lost a shoe and glove a couple of times during the search for the perfect tree.
I think Maco has worn the same jacket and hat to pick out our tree every year since we've been married!
Not so happy by the end......she's ready for her nap!
We decorated the tree together on the night of Josiah's "angel"versary.
Maco loves it when I make him pose for pictures!
Daddy helped Mia put up a few ornaments, but basically she just wanted to suck on them.
Maco and I have a tradition of getting each other an ornament every year. We have some for Josiah, and we'll do the same for Mia, so she'll have her own special set of ornaments when she has her own family!
Don't you love my photographic skills capturing the camera cord in the background? I should be a professional!
