They have left footprints on the hearts of many. The hearts of their parents, siblings, grandparents and people who have never met them. They have left memories that will last a lifetime.
Names say so much. It's who they were and still are. They have left a stairway to Heaven, and are waiting to be united with their family from below.
They are remembered and honored in grains of sand that will never physically touch them. A message that says "They were here, and are still here in our Hearts."
They will not be forgotten.

Josiah's name has been written in the sand!

Carly & Sam lost their son, Christian, in 2007. They began writing the names of children gone too soon in the sand to honor their life, no matter how short.
I thought it would be a special thing to do in honor of Josiah's "angel"versary on December 15th.
This year, we just wanted to spend the evening together as a family. We had dinner together, watched Josiah's DVD that I made for his angelversary last year, and decorated the Christmas tree.(Finally!)
Mia wore her "My Big Brother is an Angel in Heaven" shirt today in honor of Josiah!
Watching Josiah's DVD! The video brought back a lot of memories of our 9 month journey through the pregnancy and the day we spent with him, December 15th. I love the video clips on the movie the best! We have lots of photos and I look at them all the time, but there's something different about the videos. Even though he'd already gone to Heaven, he just seems more real and alive in the videos.
Once again, we want to thank everyone that has been a support to us. We couldn't have gotten through these past 2 years without your love and care. We especially appreciate how you keep Josiah's memory alive and haven't forgotten about him. Thank you! It means the world to us!
Eating dinner all together at the kitchen table!(Something we rarely do!)
I'll have to add the pictures of Mia helping us decorate. We saved some ornaments so she can put them on today.
After we got most of the tree decorated, it fell over! I think we have it figured out now, hopefully! We'll see how it goes with Mia!(I'll have to add updated pictures later.)
