The 10 Things I Wouldn't Want to Live Without!

I saw this done on some of the blogs I read, and I thought it would be fun to do, too!(As you can see I have a lot of time on my hands!)

Obviously I couldn't live without God, family, friends, our home,  jobs, and couldn't live without other essentials like food and water. The items on my list are not absolutely necessary, but definitely make my life a lot easier or enjoyable, and I would put up a fight if I had to give one of them up!

I've had this palm for a few years now, and I use it all the time!  I used to have a little paper day planner, which worked fine. But I always had a hard time fitting in everything in the little square provided and then when I had to change something, I'd have to scribble it out and rewrite it in the correct box.(Guess a pencil would have made that easier.)  When I got this computerized day planner a whole new world opened up for me! It was definitely money well spent. To this day I can't figure out how people can remember appointments, dates, or anything for that matter without a pocket calendar to keep track of it all.

Gotta have my lip gloss! This gloss is cheap and glossy! Just gives you a little boost of shine when you aren't feeling or looking so shiny!

How else would I check all the blogs and find all the great money saving tips without the Internet?

Before checking money saving blogs for an hour a day came into my life, a lot of my free time was spent scrapbooking. I was thrilled when we moved my scrapbooking table from our family room to our bedroom and even more happy when we moved it from our BR to our office. It's a tight fit in the office, but we make it work. I bet I'm the only person who scrapbooks at a table while sitting on a couch!

Thanks to my step-mom, Helene, I found this wonderful  body spray and lotion from Bath & Body Works. The scent is called Moonlight Path. Over the years I've gotten so many compliments while wearing it. I've even had former students come back and tell me that they always thought I smelled good and think of me when they smell it again! How sweet and funny!

I LOVE cereal!! I always have. I used to eat it for basically every meal of the day. That was in my "not so healthy" days! There aren't too many things better than a big bowl of cereal with ice cold milk! Although, I must admit that since I had to restrict my dairy for 4 months while breastfeeding Mia, my desire for cereal has decreased. I don't eat in nearly as much as I did, especially when I was pregnant!

It would be tough to live without the jogging stroller. Mia and I are always on the go, either in the stroller or the car.

Even though I did say that water was one of life's essentials, I'm not sure if normal people take their  water EVERYWHERE with them. I always have to have my bottle of water nearby in any situation. I think it's like a security blanket or something. :)

Another must!!!! If you can't tell this is a rubberband for my hair. There's nothing special about this particular rubberband, other than it is pretty much used on a daily basis. Unless I'm working,(which isn't that much these days), or going out for  a special event(which is even less these days), my hair is usually in a ponytail. I'm not a big fan of straightening my hair every day in order to wear it down, and I like it up out of my face. (For those of you that haven't been to my house, don't worry......we don't have red shag carpet in our family room......it's in our bathroom. JK!!)

Out of all of my "must have" items, I think my camera is the most important!! It goes everywhere with me. I wouldn't want to miss out on any photo opps! Although, sometimes it would be nice to just enjoy a special moment, rather than having to document every moment of it with my camera. Maybe someday I'll be able to do that. Not now while I have precious moments of Mia to capture!!
