Mia has already gone to two birthday parties in this short time she's been here on earth! Siri turned 2 last weekend, so we had to go to Olympia to help her celebrate. This was our first trip away from home. Unfortunately, Maco had to stay home, so we were away from him for four days. He missed Mia tremendously. The night she got home, she got a special treat of sleeping on Daddy's chest, instead of in the crib. I'm not sure if Maco's going to "let" us go on any other trips without him again. :)
Mia is on the verge of smiling.....Her eyes are lighting up, she's cracking a little bit of a smile, but we're waiting for that great big grin.....any day now, and I can't wait!

Maco's dad, Jimmy, came and met Mia for the first time.
Mia's first time in the snow!! Am I a horrible mom because I'll put my child in the freezing snow just to snap a quick shot?? :) As you can see, she loved it!
Mia's first storytime at the library. It was much more than just a story. We sang songs, danced, spoke spanish, did sign language, and more. Mia soaked in every minute of it!
