1st day of tennis lessons!!

Look how giant this team is! They are a team from Auburn. They are freshman and even a sophomore. We are 8th graders! All they did in their warmup was practice dunking. They thought they were gonna walk all over us!

Here you can see the height even better! Kyrie sunk 2 free throws to put us up 5 with 45 seconds to go!

Big win!! Won by 3!!! The other team had 4 dunks in the game, but that's not all you need to win!!

Huge win!!! So proud of the team!

Lost in the semis and won the 3rd place game! Although Maco says they got 2nd since they beat everyone in the pool, except for the champions! The boys have been challenged greatly and playing really well! They will be very prepared for June School ball!!

Amanda & Lindsay put quotes in the ice cubes of the drinks! So cute!

They even brought in a psychic to read taro cards! I've always wanted to do this! When I first came in she said I had tattoos and she couldn't see mine and was right! I have the one on my foot with my mom's handwriting! And only one other person in our group had one, so its not like she said that to everyone! She also kept having another spirit break in to share but she said they had a beard, so I guess it wasn't my mom.

Book Club friends!

Book of Mormon with Marlana! It was fun to hang with my cousin and see Clayton Lukens perform in the ensemble, a former Journey actor from Camas. We saw him in 2018 in Newsies, and he was amazing!

Finally got to sub at Fox this year! Got to sub PE for the 5th grade track meet day! I didn't get to have Naomi in class, but it was fun being in the same school and seeing her throughout the day!

Nyla is really big on using napkins, and I am teaching her how to put her napkin on her lap! She did this herself!

Week long family vacay to Riviera Maya! We had this trip planned for 8 months!

The kids'(except Mia) first time outside of the country!

We had scheduled a 7am flight, which Alaska cancelled and booked us on a red eye!

All smiles before we know how rough the red eye would be!!:)

We were so lucky to have an entire row to DFW! Nyla even got her own seat!

Still awake!!

Unfortunately though, she and I didn't sleep!

Arrived into DFW at 4am! Still couldn't get her to sleep!

6am flight into Cancun!

Still no sleep!!!

Nyla finally fell asleep while waiting for bags in Cancun!

Transport to resort! It was soooo hot and humid outside! So thankful for the blasting AC in the van! Everyone was so tired after traveling overnight for 13 hours! I didn't sleep at all, and it ended up being around 38 hours before I slept! Never doing a redeye again!!

We have arrived!! We had 3 hours to wait for our room in the open air hotel lobby! Sooooo hot!

So proud of Kyrie for getting up in front of over 100 people to sing karaoke! There was only one other kid singer!

Then it was Naomi's turn!!!! She was the youngest singer! She sang TAylor Swift, Shake it Off!

She got more comfortable as she went!! So so proud of her!!! I honestly didn't think she was going to follow through with it!!

Uno No Mercy!! There are so many different versions of Uno now! And I think we have almost all of them!

Nightly show!

So after the show, they had a special pre show game! I was asked to participate in it not knowing what the game was! My initial answer was no, but thought I would get out of my comfort zone and do it!

Little did I know it would be a dance competition against 20 year olds! :)

It was soooo hot and humid I was sweating like a pig!! I made it to the final round!

Once the free style round hit, I was done for!

Although after I thought of so many moves I could have done!:)

In the end I was proud of myself for doing it! Being on stage in front of people is definitely not my cup of tea! I was sad though that half my family wasn't there to cheer me on since it was a spontaneous thing! But Kyrie and Naomi were great supporters!!
