Nyla and I went straight from the Bruin game to cheer on Mia and the CHS team in the bi districts championship in Auburn!

Stayed overnight at the Inversos. It was a rough night of sleep, and this is how Nyla ending up sleeping for a few hours! She started in the pack n play, to my chest, to the floor. Once sleeping, we don't wake her up!!
And straight back on Sunday to watch Kyrie in his bball tourney!

Drove by the home we grew up in! When I see the house, I picture my mom and her brothers standing on the front porch all together posing for a photo. Maybe it was Easter. I remember my Uncle Jon having bleach blond hair and everyone smiling and looking so happy! :)
Regional CHS game at Lake Washington! Lost, but still make state in the dome. Have to win to make it into the quarterfinals. So thankful we an watch all the games online if we can't go!
Was going through books recently and came across this book my Grandma and Grandpa Cusack gave me on Christmas when I was 11. This was my favorite picture book growing up because I loved the oil painted illustrations. The pages were so smooth! ;)
Also found this book from Aunt Sandy given to Mia for her baby shower. So special!

This Game is No Secret! Kyrie wearing this shooter shirt in honor of Black History month as are the Bruins! In 1944 Duke and North Carolina played in the first interracial game in secret! They held the game during church, so there were no spectators. North Carolina won 88-44, there is no score card of the game, and only one black reporter found out about the game and agreed not to write about it. Not until years later did other reporters and police learn about the game.
