Jammin' June

Decided to follow the trend and do a house project during Covid! We are repainting the house! Our master was this turquoise color when we moved in, and finally decided after almost 8 years it's time to go!

After consulting some friends and seeing their houses painted, we chose Sherwin Williams Repose Gray!! Apparently its very popular! It lightened up the room so much! Hard to see in picture!

We re-did everything in the room, except the headboard! We took out Maco's desk, bookshelf, and treadmill! Made the room so much bigger!! Had to make this pic big to see the amazing sign I had made! My sister's friend, Keri,  made it and she is local if you want to order anything! copeandcosigns@gmail.com

So happy to get rid of the black furniture!! We had it for 16 years!! Definitely got our money's worth!

Had these books made that say "Love you more"

I even repainted our mirror we have had for 16 years!

Kitchen before......

Kitchen after.....

Kitchen/dining before.....

Kitchen/dining after....much lighter......

Before.....sage green fireplace wall, tan walls

After with just paint done...

Phase 1: Paint walls

Phase 2:Paint mantel white

My only regret is not doing this sooner!!

Phase 3: Paint fireplace tile and change up decor! Hopefully soonish we will retile, and in the extended future we will get new furniture and flooring! But for now, I love it!

Master bath before.....the whole bathroom was sage green, including the ceiling when we moved in....

Master bath before....so dark....

Repose gray on the walls.......look at the difference before painting the ceiling!

Coat #1! I had to do 4 coats!!

Changing up the decor! I still have the tags on everything because I'm so indecisive! Thank goodness for my sisters that give me their opinion on everything!

Master after:.......Still want to redo fixtures, mirrors, cabinet, but this paint/decor upgrade will do for now!

Mia was inspired to do a little remodel to her room, too! This cabinet previously held all her lego creations!

Mia scored this print on clearance for $7, and it matched her room perfectly!
