Many Thanks!

Nay rocking her Jordans for the first time!

Mia and her sweet friend Chloe made hot chocolate for all the kiddos!

Lovin' their hot chocolate!

These girls are always so creative when together!

This girl loves to dress up!

Kyrie made this WWJD necklace at a camp at Journey  church last spring break. He wears it everyday and the "silver" has even worn off! I love how much he treasures it!

Nay loves her table and chairs that Kyrie's teacher gave her! She seems like such a big girl sitting at it!

1st time with play doh(video)

One of Naomi's favorite spots to sit is on the stairs! She also likes to take articles of clothing and drape them around her neck like a scarf!

Tickling(video)

Nay LOVES babies!! She says "hi" over and over in this screechy high pitched voice! It's adorable!

Trying to put on her own shoes!

Story time!

Love her curls!

Kyrie's playoff weekend! He got to be a captain!

Scoring a touch down in the semi-final game!

They had a great season! Made it to the semi final game and lost! Kyrie scored a touchdown or two the final weekend and the boys finished 8-4! Not bad for a team of mostly second graders playing 3/4th graders!

Such sweet cousins came to watch Kyrie in the playoffs! They are the most polite kids! They offered to carry his football gear and my stuff, too! So sweet and helpful!

Loved watching him play this year!

During Kyrie's game, Mia was at her last soccer game, and Maco was on a road trip to Central Washington to play an exhibition game! Unfortunately their bus broke down, but they made it in time!

Kyrie loved going to lunch and spending the night with the Chasteen cousins!

Music with cousins!(video)

We love our family Saturdays with the Bruins!

At our favorite Newberg sandwich shop, Jac's, for team dinner!

Naomi being mobile this season is a complete game changer!!

He loves dressing just like the team! He hangs out in the locker room with the boys and even has his own locker!:)

This girl has spent a lot of her short life(in my belly and out) on the basketball court!

Of course there is always a game of football played with our Sports Information Director, Danny!

Game prep with Daddy!

The cutest little George Fox cheerleader!

Go, Hamilton!

Nay has taken many a naps in the ergo at George Fox!

Chloe cheered on the Bruins one game with us!

We had a great first weekend, winning both non-conference games! Starting the season 2-0!

The big win! Kyrie runs out on the court!:)(video)

Nay playing in the office with her buddy Colt, the assist. athletic director's son!

(video)

The buzzer beater at the end of regulation to put us into overtime with UPS! The shot was way past an NBA 3 pointer, and we were down by 23!! We ended up winning by 2 in OT! It was incredible!! With a win the night before against Lewis and Clark, our record is now 2-0 in conference and 5-2 overall! Such a great start to the season! We now play 2 games at home, including the #1 team in the country! Then the team heads down to Cali to play 2 games right before Christmas. Conference play will resume January 4th!

Kyrie got to play in a half time game!(Video)

And he won!(video)

Nay loves the microphone! Maybe she'll fulfill my dream of being a gospel singer!

Nay on the mic!(video)

Nay got to help in Kinley's class with Auntie!

Mia's class artwork donated for the auction! I had to stop bidding at $100 because I had bid on so many things!

Kyrie's class made this awesome chandelier out of plastic water bottles! I tried to get it for his room, but also had to stop after it got to $100!

Well we ended up winning 5 items!! Thankful it goes to a great cause! Mia was thrilled about the art bin we won! Kyrie was excited about the Mariners package we won!

Both kids were stoked about the Polar Express party we won with our principal, Dr. Sork!

Dr. Sork comes to our house and the kids get to have a party with 6 of their friends!

Kyrie picked out a giant lollipop when he won!

Winning Bingo!(video)

Mia was so excited when she finally won!!  It was too cute!

Mia's turn!(video)

Mia picked out pop tarts!

Well at least Sheila won! Actually I was the only person at our table of 7 that didn't win! Oh well!

We visited my mom's grave for the 24th anniversary of her death on Thanksgiving day. Felt weird this year taking pictures, but also like to document the kids growing up each year visiting her grave and trying to keep her memory alive! Miss her soooo much! Hope she is watching down and proud!

Bobbing for apples at the apple cup party at the Ewanics! Don't tell Maco!!

Bobbing for apples!(video)

Story time with my girls!

Pretty much the only time Nay ventures out from my lap is for the bubbles!

Bubbles!(video)

Reading by Christmas lights is the best!

Our safety patrol superstar! Nothing like getting to school by 725 every Monday morning! Mia doesn't ever complain! So appreciate that!

We were so proud of Mia for wanting to be a part of the the science olympiad this year! She practiced at school for 6 weeks, and then participated in the science olympiad this month! She tried her best and had fun! Way to go, Mia!

Love these friends!

All the kids loved Naomi!

Mia's science team! They are getting ready for the tin foil boat challenge!

Getting their boat ready!(video)

They made a boat to see how many penneys it will hold! They got 28!

Placing the pennies!(Video)

One of the parents brought pizza for the whole team! So generous and kind!

The Dorothy Fox Science Olympiad Team! Great job, Foxes!

Nay came to support Mia at the competition!

Story time with Daddy!

We decorated our house the earliest we have ever! Kyrie had been waiting a month! His favorite spot to read is right in front of the fire!

Helping decorate! Setting out all the Santas to find a perfect place for them! Some of the Santas were from Grandma Kathy's collection!

Kyrie bought a Santa suit with his own money, along with his very own Santa bag!

Nay loves reading the Christmas books!

Fun wrapping with the McCulloughs, too!

Can't believe Nay was only 2 months old at this last year!

More story time with Daddy!

Nay helped me shop for the kids' advent calendar goodies! She loved the bell necklaces of course!

Cousin-Auntie-Mommy date to see the Oregon Children's Theater performance of Ella Enchanted!

Smoothie treat after the play!

While the girls were at the play, the boys were  making memories at Kyrie's 8th annual Blazer vs Kyrie Irving game!

Ran into our friends the Bologoffs a the game! Huge Boston fans too!

Love when they play together!

And this hasn't happened in probably 3 years! I pushed Kyrie in the stroller because I really needed to get in some exercise! Probable pushing close to 100 pounds up these crazy hills! We barely survived!

Mia loves to bake! She either wants to be a baker or a teacher! Hmmm.....wonder where she got those ideas from?!

Cousin Jess is our honorary cousin holder every month! Getting the girls to smile is always a challenge, but Jess has a big enough one for both of them!:)

So fun playing games together!

These sweet cousins are just 4 months apart!

The kids decided it should be pajama night for dinner and games!

Cousins all around!

Trying to get a pic of these cousins just a week apart is way more challenging now that they're mobile!

Fun playing games!

Playing Guesstures! An oldie, but goodie!!

More cousin love from Zach!

Play time with Aunt Jane!

Trying to get a pic of Nay's first hair clip! Clearly she doesn't really need it yet!!

And wearing Mia's outfit from when she was one!!

We heard about a family that was losing their 8 year old daughter to cancer and were celebrating Christmas early. They were asking for Christmas cards to be sent from all over! I was really pleased with Kyrie's compassionate heart to make one for them!

So thankful for these coaches that pour into these boys' lives!

A b-ball player in the making, hopefully!!

Nay loves watching Daddy on the computer!(video)

My third 1000 point giant cookie! So proud of Mason and all that he has accomplished at George Fox! Such a great person all around!

Love this team!

Basketball season has arrived!  Maco will be coaching both kids this year, along with his Bruins! It's crazy, but they love it! He couldn't do it without the help of his assistant coaches!

Nay saying "thank you"!(video)

Our casual Thanksgiving Pajama dinner with Sittee! We celebrated Wednesday night before Mia and Maco left Thursday am for Colorado with the team!

A little Thanksgiving family twister after dinner!

We couldn't get a pic of the entire family together!

Sittee even got in on the Twister action!

Kyrie, Nay and I celebrated Thanksgiving day with the Eaton family this year! I can't remember the last time we did that.....possibly 24 years ago on the Thanksgiving my mom passed away. It was really nice!

Love family time!

Sweet cousins!

Two of my mom's brothers and their wives!

Kyrie had fun playing darts and ping pong with the grown ups!

Cousins!!

Naomi finally felt comfortable enough to venture out and play with the yoga ball after a nap!

On their way to Colorado Thanksgiving morning! This is the first time Mia has  gone on a plane without me! Felt weird, but I knew she was in good hands of course!

Missed these two on Thanksgiving, but they had a nice dinner put on by one of the player's families!

Thanksgiving dinner with the Bruins! The team went 1-1 at the Colorado tournament bringing them to a 3-1 record!

Cousin trip to Skamania Lodge! Auntie and I had planned this trip with the kiddos awhile back before we knew Mia was going to Colorado with Maco! It was nice though for Kinley and Kyrie to have some good one on one time!

The gorge is so beautiful! We had sun and no rain!

Loved all the Christmas decorations!

Game time!

The lodge put on an elf scavenger hunt and story time for the kids! The kids were prepared  with their elf pajamas!!

Sitting by the fire!

I could not get a good shot all of three in front of the fire for the life of me!

Elf scavenger hunt!

Hunting for elves!(video)

After finding all three elves around the lodge, they got to pick out a key chain prize!

As per the norm, Kyrie  made friends with another kid and played a giant game of war while waiting for story time!

Christmas ships with the McCulloughs! Kyrie didn't want to miss the Bruin game, so he spent the day at Fox with Maco!

We went all the way out on the the boat ramps! It was the closest ever and way cooler being that close!

Our advent activity for the day was to put change on the vending machines! The kiddos are making Christmas cards to add to the money!

Swimming time at the pool!

She finally got in for a few seconds at least!

Pizza & fun at the hotel! What a fun tradition with the McCulloughs every year!

Mia had fun staying the night! They watched Elf, had popcorn, everyone slept, and had a yummy breakfast in the am!

Decorating the kids' tree for the playroom!

The kids love looking through all their ornaments. They have quite the collection already! They both have  over 40!

Christmas tree time! We decided to try a new tree farm this year that was closer! It was a beautiful sunny day! This was also the first year that we didn't cut down our own tree!  The kids picked out our tree in about 3 minutes!

The kids had fun checking out the animals!

Naomi had her first ever part of a candy cane! All of a sudden it was gone and we thought she ate it all!

Well 3 hours later, after her nap, at Kinley's party, we found the candy cane stuck to her dress!:)  Ooops!

And the kids' favorite part.....decorating!!!

cxcThe kids decorate the tree all on their own basically! We have so many ornaments, we don't even put on 1/3 probably!

December 1st started our advent house! We add a bible
verse with one or two kind/giving/family activities to do. Every other day the kids get a special treat/gift, too! It's one of their favorite things of the Christmas season, and they look forward to this every year!
