Goodbye summer......

Kyrie loves this shirt!

Summer trip to Neskowin with Sittee!

Of course there will be basketball!

The kids couldn't wait to play in the sand!

Kite flying was also high on the list of things to do!

Loved our time together!

Kite time with Daddy!

Sittee and Mia's "scared" picture!

Climbing Proposal Rock!

Family relaxing time!

Jamberry nail time!

Mia's beautiful nails!

And we lost a kite! It went sailing through the town and got caught on the power line.  Maco spent about 15 minutes trying to throw a soccer ball up to the power line and knock the kite off!

Oh.my.goodness!!! I have waited all year for this yumminess!! They are the best marionberry scones ever! I was so bummed because we weren't going to be in Neskowin on the weekend this year to get the scones at the farmer's market! So I sought the baker out and ordered 10 to be delivered to us during the week! It was sooooo worth it!

I can't even explain the goodness in this box! My mouth is watering right now writing this!

Eating well thanks to Daddy!

We couldn't find Mia's shoes one evening, and she only brought one pair! Not sure how you lose shoes! We thought maybe we left them on the beach during the kite debacle! We went out several hours later, and there they were! Whew!

Family walk through the neighborhood!

Blackberry picking!

Oh my goodness.....their cheeks!!!

The next day the kite came down in someone's backyard......we cut the kite off, but couldn't get the string out of the many trees and houses it was in/over! Bummer!:(

It wouldn't be a Hamilton family vacation without playing some sports!

Family game of baseball!

Time for some kickball!

......and football! Daddy & Kyrie running out plays!

Jumpin' the waves with Daddy!

Mia loves her Sittee time!

Neskowin 2015.....4th annual trip!

We surprised Mia with a trip to Seattle to the American Girl Doll store!

She was soooo excited! In her own words....."This is my greatest wish!"

We made it! Let's see what this is all about!

Consulting with Daddy on her options to purchase!

This is how the little brother hangs at the store!

Sofia waiting for Mia after she got her ears pierced!

Mia used her money, with some matching from Mommy & Daddy to get the doll carrier, basketball outfit(George Fox colors of course!), and Sofia's ears pierced!

So excited about her first AG purchase!

Since we were in Lynnwood, we visited Maco's old stompin' grounds! This was the house he grew up in!

Another stop on the neighborhood tour was Daddy's elementary school.......which is no longer in existence! So sad!

Visiting with "Uncle Brad" while in Seattle! Brad was a big brother to Maco when he lived in Seattle, and he was in our wedding! We haven't seen him much or met his wife and kids since they now live in Chile!

Crazy kids!! Maco couldn't come up because he had basketball camp. We missed him!

Love these two soooo much!

All the great-grand-kids, minus one with Great-Grandma Cusack! It was a bummer that Great-Grandpa couldn't make the trip to Seattle. :(

Neighborhood playdate! We got some new next door neighbors, so I invited all the neighbors over to hang and meet.

Kyrie freaked out at his dentist cleaning, and he has been going for 3 years and always fine! We had to go back a week later and fortunately he had his buddy, Clark, Sissy, and video games to encourage him this time around!

The kids love running around the green with friends while dancing to the music!

Helene graciously spent her time helping me redo our kitchen cabinets! I'd been wanting to do them for 2.5 years, but never been motivated enough to do it! This summer was the time to do it, and I couldn't have done it without Helene's help!

My cute little helper!

Before.....

After.....
We used Rustoleum to paint them cream. It doesn't show up as well in the picture, but it totally brightens up the kitchen! I love it! Now to be patient and wait for new counters and stainless appliances! Hopefully sooner than later!

I thought it would be fun to get together with new and old friends in Kyrie's preschool class before school starts! We met at the park and played a game of Duck, Duck, Goose! Mia got to join in, too!

Kyrie said his favorite thing about soccer was scoring goals!

The Green Dino dance party! Kyrie is the one on the ground break dancing!

Unfortunately, Mia and Kyrie had their award ceremonies at the exact same time. And we didn't know that mia was having one, so I didn't get any pictures!:( Such a fun summer of soccer!

Mia lost 2 teeth this month, which makes 7 lost!

Helping out at the Camas MOMS' Club garage sale!

Yaya took Mia out for a special day of lunch and crafting! So fun!

Mia and Yaya made a special chain for her backpack!

Cinetopia date night! I love our monthly date swaps with my friend, Kary! So nice to make sure we have at least one date night a month and so nice that we don't have to worry about a babysitter with Kary watching the kids!
