Summer is here!

Kyrie got some new "jump" shoes and wanted to wear them for his nap! He was so excited when he got them, that he put them on and tried to jump as high as he could......He was so disappointed when he couldn't touch the ceiling and said the shoes aren't working!

Mia's Run For the Arts at school! She's all ready to run!

Our family had a lot of fun running and cheering Mia on!

Daddy, Kyrie, & Grandpa came to encourage Mia!

Of course she had to run with her bestie, Heidi!

Grandpa and Kyrie even got in on the running action!

Go, Mia!!

So proud of Mia for how hard she worked for this fundraiser! She ran 2 miles and raised about $130 for the school! She was even in the top 15 money raisers for the whole school! So thankful for all the friends and family that supported her!

So happy that my dad was here or Father's Day this year! Great job planning a 7 hour lay over in Portland, Dad! :)

Mia  & Kyrie love their daddy!

I'm so thankful that Maco is the father of my kids! He loves them sooo much! Kids and I had fun helping Auntie Kelly & Sittee make dinner for the dads in our lives!

Did The Hungry Caterpillar reader's theater......

And lastly got to go into the cocoon and fly out as a butterfly into first grade!

Our kindergarten graduate! I can't believe it!!

Our little full day first grader!

Mia had a great year in Ms. Sawyer's class! She really blossomed and came a long way for only half day kindergarten! So thankful Mia had a great start to school!

Mia and friends enjoying end of the school year popcicles!

Volunteer appreciation day! I felt so special when the school thanked us with yummy treats in June!

I had fun subbing at Mia's school this year, and she loves coming early to school with me! Aynsley & Mia had fun setting up an obstacle course when I was subbing PE!

The last day of school!

Mia and our neighbor extraordinaire, Aynsley!

The boys wanted to join the picture, too!

Mia's last day on the bus until middle school, since we live within the walk zone! She LOVED riding the bus!

Last day of school ice cream with her BFF, Heidi!

Ice cream to mark the last day of having our buddy Luke with us!:( We will miss you next year, Luke!

Brother + sister = love

One of the best ways to get my workout in is to go the the track and have the kids ride their bikes while I walk! It's a win-win situation because everyone has fun!

They love rolling down the hills at Union!

And they love using the long-jump pits for digging!

We even got Mia to let us bury her in the sand!!

Fun girls night out with the Camas/Washougal Indoor Playpark ladies at 360 Pizzeria!

Mia helping Kary at the Indoor Playpark garage sale!

The kids had a great time at the Camtown Festival at Crown Park this year. It's a completely free event for kids! Kinley & Auntie Kelly even joined us!

One of my favorite carnival games, fishing for a prize!

Mia even pet a llama! We're making progress people!

And she got to be the clown's assistant!!

Mia even got to jump at the festival thanks to our wonderful neighbor Lisa that stood in line with the kids for an hour!!!

Mia had a last play date with our neighbor and bus stop buddy Tessa, before she moved to Poland!

Special cousin time at the library for story time and smoothies while Mia was at VBS for  the week!

Kyrie loves to climb on anything he can!

We love free summer bowling! Don't you love Mia's fashion sense!

We love our friends, too!

Fun date afternoon with Papa! Lunch at McDonalds, ice cream at DQ, arcade games at Big Al's, and roller skating at the park! They fit a lot  in to 3 hours! Mia had such a blast, she wrote about it during writer's workshop the next day at school! So sweet!

Papa took Mia by Uncle Quinn's new house in Camas!

Farmer's market with Papa & Auntie!

Craft time!

Mia's Chia pet she made at the market! It grew hair!

On our way to the Jr. Rose parade with my crew!

The littles are ready!

Good friends~ new and old!

I love making these memories with the kids while I'm not working!

Can't go to the parade on a hot day without buying ice cream from the ice cream truck!

We are having Bible time each morning this summer, and Kyrie loves "reading" us the stories!

This Bible activity was to draw what Heaven looks like! Mia drew Grandma Kathy!

Kyrie drew a train track!

Welcome summer~ popsicle party with MOMS club friends!

Love this homemade sprinkler!

Snagged this puppet theater at a sale for $5! The kids love playing with it!

Mia came with me to help clean the indoor playpark on my last day! Sad not to be apart of this great place next year, but glad to have less commitments!

End of the year MOMS club banquet! What a fun night!

Posing with our playgroup!

Two of my beautiful besties, Kary & Sheila!

First Friday in downtown Camas with the Wilsons~The kids enjoyed expressing their creativity by coloring ducks for the Ducky Derby! We bought 2 ducks and are hoping to win a great prize when our duck gets to the finish line first!!

The theme was Poker tour! The kids went into many of the participating stores and collected playing cards to try and make the best hand! We didn't win, but we had a lot of fun!

Of course we had to get dessert after all the hard work at the poker tour, so the kids got to play ice cream server at BV!

Movie and popcorn night with the neighbors!

I love these summer afternoons. Love having the neighbors hang out in our backyard and having fun on another garage sale find, the teeter totter! One afternoon, I literally set up my chair on the driveway and sat there for 3 hours while neighbors and friends just kept coming over and playing. I just go to chat with all the moms all afternoon! Good times! :)

The farmer's market Kid zone with the Nesland boys! We love the Camas farmer's market every Wednesday! I go just for the goodies from Truly Scrumptious! If you live around here, you have to try her salted caramel shortbread! Is is heavenly!

Mia helping Aynsley wash their car on a hot afternoon!

We took a very quick trip up to Tacoma one Saturday to hang with the Inversos, while Maco recruited at a tournament! Here are the birthday twins...well almost....they are 8 days apart!

The older girls!

We spent time at the park where it kept switching from rain to sun, so the girls decided to cover their bodies from the drastic weather conditions on the walk back!

Princess Mia & Princess Kinley shirts! My neighbor saw Kinley at our house one afternoon and went right inside and make her a shirt! How sweet!

Mia loved going to VBS with the Neslands this year! This is the end of the week program!

Kyrie wanted to eat breakfast with Grandma Kathy! Sweetest thing ever!!

Cottonwood beach in Camas with my longest bestie, Jamie, and her son, Brayden!

What a fun place!

Maco spoke at Union HS's baccalaureate this year! He did awesome, and it was such an honor that they asked him!

Congratulations, Spencer....one of Maco's former players at Union! What a great kid!
