May Happenings!

Helping babysit Cousin Kinley!
Kyrie loved having Grandpa Busby watch him while Mommy worked.
Love her style!
Mia loves helping Kyrie walk! he actually started walking right after he turned 13 months, which was 3 months earlier than Mia. :) I haven't been able to capture a good picture yet! And I guess kind of hard to see "walking" with a still picture anyway. :)
So not used to this boy thing! Kyrie climbs up on everything! Love his adventurous spirit! :)
Mia made a card for her teacher, Miss Keli, for teacher appreciation week. This was one of the first times she's actually taken the time to complete a sentence. It says, "I love my teacher because she is(I wrote this part) my best teacher."(mia wrote this part.)I loved her B! I am really happy with her progress this year!
My 2 stylin' boys ready to party at Mr. Nesland's 80th surprise Kentucky Derby party!
The family all ready for the derby!
Mia took swimming lessons at the Y this month!
We just need her to get comfortable with the water, so just happy she loved doing it!
Lessons with her buddy, May!
This may not look like much, but let me tell you this is progress! :)
Mother's day with my sweet girl! love her!
Our family on mother's day! Maco really made me feel special with a delicious meals throughout the day. I think he spent most of the day slaving in our kitchen over the hot stove in an 80 degree house. I appreciated it so much!
Love these boys so much!
Mia set the table for our special mother's day dinner!
And the mother that I am so thankful for...raising a wonderful man!
Two of the reasons I smile every day! So happy to be their mom!
Enjoying our guavaberry coconut coladas that Mado made us with the tequila we brought back from the caribbean. They are soooo good!
So glad we started the tradition last year of going to mother's day tea. I look forward to doing this every year. This year we went to our old church, The Well, for tea.
Lovin all the treats!
Dress up time!
We had a great time going to tea with our good friends, Mikayla & Tracey. This was the best picture we could get with Mikayla because she really didn't want her picture taken!
All the pretty little girls....and a couple handsome boys, too!
I love watching Mia and Kyrie play together. She said this month that she is going to marry him. Too cute to mention that might not be such a great idea! :)
Movie & popcorn night with Josiah!
What a technological time we live in......laptop time!
Love his face!
On Memorial weekend, we were spoiled with Maco making ribs, chicken/shrimp skewers, salmon, homemade mac and cheese, and macaroni salad! We were in Heaven!
So happy Mia has taken on Maco's love for cooking......she helped us tear up lettuce for salad.
Mia and I went on our monthly mommy/daughter date this month to Starbucks! I was trying to have a great conversation and spoil her with a special treat of chocolate milk and coffee cake. But all she wanted to do was go get flowers! She didn't even want to eat her treat! So much for conversation, but glad we got to hang together!
Kyrie's last day of swimming!
Library time with friends!
Playtime at the mall play land after story time.
Buddies!
Going down the slide face first! no fear!
I don't know about other people that have boys and girls, but I totally see gender differences. Kyrie attempted climbing up the slide 5 times before mastering it. Once he did, he did it over and over again! Mia wouldn't have even thought about doing this til at least 2! He is just so into climbing so much more than Mia EVER was!
He was so proud of himself when he finally did it!
King of the slide!
Finger painting with chocolate pudding!
Let's just say this was probably the only second Kyrie was "painting" and not eating it!
Mia loved it!
We have had a busy month, and I'm so looking forward to the summer and having lots of family time!
