Can’t believe it’s already February, and Mia will be 3 at the end of the month! She is getting so big and learning so much every day. Her new favorite question is, “Why?”. She is still exuding her independence and wants to do everything herself, which helps me remember to be patient! Mia seems to be excited about the arrival of her baby brother in about 8 weeks. Can’t wait to see her interact with and love him! We just love seeing her grow and mature into a little girl!
We are in the heart of basketball season. The team is currently in 3rd place, but can still tie for 1st. We have a tough couple of weeks ahead. We try and stop by practice about once a week so Mia can see Daddy and “the boys”! She loves to go out on the court and coach the boys with him! Maybe she’ll follow in her Daddy’s footsteps and be a coach someday! ;)
Mia has spent many a hours playing and sitting on this court!
Over the MLK holiday we went up to Tacoma to watch the team beat the 4th ranked team, Kentwood, in the MLK Classic!
Way to go Daddy and Titans!
We got to spend a couple days with our good friends in Tacoma. Mia & Ellie had a fun time playing together!
Reading in the windowsill!
We were able to spend time with the Millers, too! Mia and Aaron enjoyed playing with these…..I don’t even know what they’re called…..light sabers?? Did I just make that up?
We finally got to see Emily and she has gotten so big since the last time we saw her, the day she was born!
Daddy was thrilled to root on the Ducks in the National Championship game! So sad they weren’t able to take home the title!
“OOOOOOOOOO”
We celebrated my 33rd birthday this month! Man, I’m old! Sittee had us over for dinner to celebrate!
We had a little pre-dinner jam session!
Maco and Mia made me dinner and cookies on my actual birthday, but I didn’t take any pictures. :(
