The month of June was VERY busy and extremely wet! With summer basketball started, we didn’t get to spend as much time as we would have liked with Maco. So, Mia and I tried to find lots of things to do just the two of us and have some fun in the crummy weather!
We were so happy that we got to be a part of our Godson Caleb’s 5th birthday!
Mia loving her sweet treats with Cousin Marlana!
Art time at one of our outings with our mom’s group this month!
Spending some time with one of her best buddies Josiah!
Mia loves balloons and was very happy to get a balloon horse at her friend Evie’s 2nd birthday party! Although, she did not want anything to do with the clown painting her face!
Finally got a stool tall enough that she can wash her own hands. She’s becoming so independent! If she could make her own food and change her own diapers(which hopefully won’t be needed much longer), I really don’t think she’d need me!
I went on a craigslist spending spree trying to find fun toys for Mia to play with this summer in our backyard! The picnic table was one of my first scores for $10!
Got a Radio Flyer trike, double jogger(for Mia and the toddler that I watch~let’s not start any rumors!), a jungle gym, and some other goodies for Mia to have fun with on Craigslist!
All the kiddos of our community group! This picture was no small feat, and it’s not even a good one! :)
Mia is obsessed with taking pictures(Hmmm…I wonder where she gets that from…:)). This is the first picture that she ever took.(Of course I had to document it!)
Mia trying to do some westside or something sign with her buddy Oz!
I just loved her smile in this one because it’s so rarely captured in a photograph!
Uncle Cole came by to do some play-dough with Mia!
Mia loves playing peek-a-boo!
Daddy bonding time!! :)
Mia and Eli were troopers hanging out while I shopped the neighborhood garage sales for 3 hours! They loved their first Otter Pop, too!
Mia deciding that she doesn’t want her diaper or shirt on!
Mia loves her white board/chalkboard easel I scored at a sale! She enjoys practicing her letters!
Mia was so proud of herself when she actually went #2 on the toilet. Why I just shared that, I’m not so sure! :)
Shaggy hair girl!!
You know how I am….I take pictures and post everything. This is the first time she put her shoes on by herself. And I mean on the right feet, velcroed, and everything.
Happy Father’s Day, Daddy! Mia drew a very special picture on the board for Maco. ;) Auntie Kelly and I made dinner for our favorite dads! Mia and I also made Maco a special father’s day breakfast in bed!
Mia likes to open everyone’s cards for them!
Mia & Papa!
Making crepes for Daddy for father’s day!
They were a hit! :)
We went to the zoo with our friends this month!
Trying to see the monkeys above!
Poor Sheila trying to hold Mia and Noah, while I take a picture. Once again, Mia was not a big fan of the petting zoo!
See I take pictures, and then I get other people to take care of my kid!
This picture was taken after Mia threw a fit because she wanted Tammi to hold her and didn’t want anything to do with me!
The beautiful ladies and none of the kids looking for the picture! :) Classic!
All the kiddos exhausted after a morning at the zoo! Actually I think the mamas were exhausted, the kids didn’t have to do anything, but ride in the strollers!
Hanging out in the hotel visiting Daddy in Tacoma!
Mia also got to visit her friend Aaron! They had fun playing together!
It is a big struggle almost every time we enter the car to get Mia into her car seat. Apparently she wants to sit like a big girl in the seat and put on her seatbelt.(Ok, is it just me, or does she look like she’s about 5 feet tall and very old in this picture? Must be the angle. :))
Taking care of the Inverso girls in Tacoma!
I just thought this picture was cute of Mia running! With her hair blowing in the wind……
On our way to the park!
And of course making cookies in their pj’s! Nothing like cookie dough before bed!! :)
My cousin Jimmy and his beautiful bride Katie!
Mia trying to see the “princess”!
Mr. & Mrs. Mallory! ;)
Mia got to see her favorite animal at the wedding.
And now that it’s July we’re loving some family time. So you should see a lot more pictures with Daddy in them in the July post!
Happy Summer!!
