We decided to take Mia to her first professional baseball game. The Beavers were playing Toronto’s farm team, so we were actually going to watch them because Toronto is Maco’s favorite team! Apparently my magic with getting discounts still works(even though I’m not as hard core as I once was) because when we went to buy our tickets, the lady gave us free reserved seating tickets. She must have thought Mia was cute or something! :) What a great start to the date! It was a 90+ degree day, but the seats were perfect….close enough, but still in the shade. Of course we weren’t going to stay for the ENTIRE game, since baseball games take forever, but we have a fun time watching the game together for a couple hours. One of the players even hit an in the park home run.(You can tell how well I was paying attention because I don’t even remember which team it was, but I think I remember cheering, so it must have been the Beavers! :))
Lounging in the seats taking in the sites!
Ready to catch a foul ball with her stylish glove from Uncle Cole and Uncle Quinn!
We asked the guy sitting in front of us to take a family picture. Apparently he didn’t think it was important to see Maco in the picture! ;)
My attempt to take another family picture…not sure if it’s any better. :)
Mia and I took a little break in the kids’ center. Actually Mia would have spent the entire time here if we’d let her. :)
Apparently I still have the good ole softball skills because I caught a T-shirt they threw out to the crowd. It was hilarious because we left right after this, and on our way out a few people told me what a great catch I made. I felt kind of like a superstar for about 2 seconds! :)
