While Maco was out of town for basketball, Mia and I spent the week up in Tacoma. It was a great week!
Mia and Ellie trying to get up the stairs. Thank goodness for gates. Mia loves the stairs and wants to climb them over and over.
Maco had a tournament in Tacoma over the weekend, so we went to a game. Mia even got to sit on the bench and help out during the timeout! Who knows, maybe she'll follow if her daddy's footsteps!
All ready for our walk to the park.
Now Mia can walk all over the park on her own!
We took a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo and Mia got her first up close look at an iguana. She wouldn't let go of me, but she did wave and say "hi".
I'm much happier if I'm looking away from the iguana. :)
In the petting zoo Mia still wasn't into actually petting the goats, but saying "hi" from afar!
"Auntie" Tharen and Siri take a ride on the carousel.
This was my first time with Mia on the carousel, but she's been on it a few times with Sittee. Sittee said she loves it, but by the end she was clinging on to me so hard and crying I had to just unbuckle her and wait for it to stop. It was a blast!
Fun times with Siri in the morning!
Mia trying to make bubbles.
And her first time with sidewalk chalk. She still wants to put everything in her mouth, so we didn't use the chalk very long.
We made a trip up to Bellevue to see "Auntie" Betsy and the Ruud family.
Mia made a new friend in Haley.
We also visited my college friend, Janel, and Mia got to play with Nora.
We also got to meet the newest addition to the McFeat family, Ellie!
Mia loved her. She was trying to climb up the side of the table to see her better. Mia couldn't get enough of the baby. She would just get right in her face and giggle a ton. I think this is a good sign for the future of babies in our household. :)
We ventured out to the sprayground. Mia was a little unsure of the whole thing. She'd walk out into the water and then run right back. She liked getting a little wet, but not soaked.
Nora and Ellie hanging out on the edge.
Ellie is "Little Miss Adventurous". This picture was taken right after she tried to climb over the side head first.
