Another month has gone by, and I really wish I could stop time!! It is going way too fast! We've had a busy month, and I have a feeling that things are just going to get even busier with Auntie Kelly's wedding in less than a month and summer starting. We're looking forward to all of the wedding and summer festivities!
I can't believe that I'm saying it again this month, but she's almost walking! Mia will walk on furniture, walls, and everything. She'll barely hold our finger and walk for hours, but she just won't walk on her own. She has taken about 4 or 5 steps at times, but normally she just falls down to her knees. I know she'll eventually walk, so I'm not worried. :)
Mia is also talking up a storm! She'll repeat anything you ask her to and then she says a ton of words on her own. Just this past weekend she started saying Sittee(grandma in Arabic), and Marna couldn't be happier! I love hearing her little voice try and say new words each day! It's so sweet!
She has figured out that she loves slides. She loves them so much that she'll start a little tantrum if you take her off of it before she's ready to go.
We started a sign language class about a month ago, and Mia loves it! I've been doing sign with her since she was 6 weeks old. She's understood some signs for a few months now, but just recently started doing some of them on her own. She does please, more, thank you, and all done. You can see her do a couple of them in the video below. It's pretty cute! ;)
One of her first ponytails. I rarely put her hair in a ponytail because I think it looks a little funny with such little hair!
Checking out Channing's tractor!
Waiting for Daddy to get home in her special spot!
Hanging out with Auntie!
Fun in the Radio Flyer!
Mia was trying to get a couple of Cheerios from the container and I forgot to help her, so she poured all of them all over herself. Of course, before I helped her clean up, I had to run and get the camera.
Mia's new chair!
Mia got to go to her first wedding shower!
