Mia turns 14 months!!!

Mia is getting so big!! She loves copying everything we say and do! She says about 8 words or so. They are ball, banana, mama, dada, night night, bye, bottle, up. Those are the words that she says most often. Then she'll repeat most words we say to her. It's so much fun! I can't wait until she's speaking in sentences!(Or can I?) We've been enjoying the sunshine and can't wait for it to be here more permanently. We love our little girl and are so thankful for the wonderful 14 months we've had with her! :)

Kids don't even need toys!! All they need is a box to have fun!

Mia loved taking a few licks of her lollipop from Easter! Don't worry, it's organic! :) Thank you, Auntie Jane and Uncle Hugo!1st softball game 003

When Sittee's  not available, Mia loves to go to "Auntie" Jeanna's house while I sub. Last weekend, we watched Jeanna's daughter, Kendra, play softball for Portland State. Mia loved walking back and forth on the bleachers in the hot sun!

waterfront 002

We've tried to get outside as much as possible when the weather has been nice. Mia's walking around her stroller as we wait for Hil & Eli to join us for a walk on the waterfront! Man, I love that we can enjoy the great weather and hang out with friends, since I'm not working!

After 3 months of playing with the basketball hoop she got for Christmas, Mia finally figured out how to make a basket!

Mia is on the brink of walking(although, I think I've been saying that for about 2 months now!) She will stand for a couple of seconds, and she'll step out a little bit. I'm just waiting for the day that she just bolts across the floor and life will no longer be the same!

I tried to capture some of the words that Mia currently says. :)
