The first Halloween photo shoot of the week! Mia had a few Halloween outfits, so she basically dressed in Halloween attire for the entire week. She even wore her costume on 3 separate days!
Katie- Here's your picture that you've been waiting for. Does the blanket look a little weird to you?
Exhausted from the shoot.
We had many Halloween events this week. The first was costume day at Kindermusik class.(Mia's a ladybug, just in case you can't figure it out!)
This picture might be one of the best! She's either thinking, "Why did you put me in this costume?" Or maybe she's thinking, " Can we stop with the pictures already, I just want to shake my egg!" I just love the look!!
Our little love bug!
We visited Sittee at her shop so she could see Mia all dressed up!
For Halloween morning, Mia met her friends at story time. Another opportunity to wear her costume!! I definitely tried to get the most out of her $7 costume.(It was really $20, but I had a gift card, of course. :)
Mia's friends, Sam(9 months) and Josiah( 12 months)
Shake, shake, shake!
Apparently Mia must have very soft hands because Sam kept wanting to pet them. :)
Mia and I love going to story time at the Vancouver Mall library each Friday. If you haven't heard, there is talk of closing the mall library due to funding. This would mean no more story time with Miss Michelle! She is awesome and may be the best story time leader in the country. :) If you have any connections , could you please help keep the library open? We'd really appreciate it!
Another stop today was to visit Daddy at work. We made our rounds through the school and stopped at Spike's office.(There you go, Spike. You made the blog!! Your wish has come true!!)
Getting counseled by Daddy!
On Halloween night, we had dinner with the Neslands and even went trick-or-treating at a few houses with Channing. I never dreamed we would take an 8 month old trick-or-treating, but Maco wanted to take her around. He must have had a sweet tooth tonight!
Mia's all ready to stock up on her candy. Yaya & Papa, thank you for my trick-or-treating bag.
Mia has been "army" crawling now for about 2 months, but just today, she began getting up on her knees and trying to crawl. Although, this picture didn't capture it very well.
Trick-or-Treat!! Maco was thrilled to take Mia up to each door and get some candy, so he can share with her.
This was Channing's first year trick-or-treating, and he didn't quite get the concept of waiting on the porch for the homeowner to answer the door. He kept opening the doors and walking into the houses! :)
The Neslands get to trick-or-treat together for the first time as a family!
Of course, it wouldn't be a holiday without the "My First......" shirt. We'll have to find one for T-giving and Christmas, too! I just realized I didn't have one for the 4th of July. Man, how did I miss that??
