Oh, what summer fun!!!!

4mos 001

There's nothing like a good nap on a hot summer day! Mia takes two  2- 3 hour naps a day, and a short nap in the late afternoon. She's also sleeping about 8pm-8am, with a quick feeding around 5 or 6am. We are so thankful that Mia is such a good sleeper!

Mia is smiling a lot now. :) I can't even remember back to when she wasn't smiling. It just seems like she always has been. Hopefully I'll be able to snap a picture when she's sporting a big grin for you all to see!(Becky-Aren't you proud????No headband.  I figured the "Auntie Kelly's Little Princess" shirt was girlie enough.:))

Auntie Katie & Auntie Kelly love to come over and hang out with Mia any chance they get. They're great babysitters, too! Mia is surrounded by so much love!! Mia will miss her special time with Auntie Katie when she leaves for her internship at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago in a month. We might just have to go for a visit! Anybody want to come along?

Maco brought home this shirt for Mia from his basketball camp at University of Idaho! Go Vandals!!

Mia's really loving the Jumperoo now. She plays with the toys(eats them), spins all around, and jumps quite a bit. Her legs are already getting stronger. For all you moms(and dads) out there, it's a great investment! :)

Mia made her second trek up north last weekend. We went up with Maco and his basketball team for a tournament. Mia and I stayed with my friend Betsy and hung out with her son Aaron. We went to a couple of games on Sunday, and I set up a little bed area for Mia on the side of the court.  She actually fell asleep for 30 minutes during the game. (I can't believe I don't have a picture! That's not like me. :))I have a feeling she is very used to the sounds of a basketball game, since she went to so many while in the womb.

We played a little game called "Dress in Mommy and Daddy's baby clothes". This Superman shirt was Maco's. The dress and romper below were mine. I guess you could have figured out which clothes were mine, but just in case there was any confusion. :)

A typical Sunday morning at our home church in sweats!

Mia met her friend Liam who was visiting from New York this week. Liam is 6 weeks younger than Mia. I think they're both into the same thing......can you figure out what it is?!?!

Hanging out in our pajamas before beginning our day!

Mia went with us to find Auntie Kelly's wedding dress! She was listening so intently to the woman helping Kelly and taking it all in for her big day in about 40 years!

Now, all she needs is the dress! This green one won't do!

Will Mia wear the veil over her face or not for her own wedding? I think I'm getting a little too ahead of myself here....... :)

Nake tummy time!! It sure gets hot in our non-air conditioned home!

Hanging out at the park on a very humid day!

Walking through the little sprinklers.

First time in a swing--She seemed to like it.  She didn't scream or anything. :)

It sure is hard to smile with a hand in your mouth!18 wks 043

It's just so hard to get a good smiling picture with the delay of my camera. I need to get one of those cameras that takes 5 pictures per second. I guess you'll just have to see her cute smile in person. :)

1st time with a teething ring. She wasn't sure about it at first because it was so cold. I'm not sure if she is teething or not, but I figured this couldn't hurt.
